Saluki Athletics and the SIH Foundation are teaming up for the Salukis Blackout Cancer Football game on Saturday, October 5, 2024, @ 6 PM. The Saluki Football team will be on the field wearing special black Under Armour® jerseys won through the Salukis Blackout Cancer jersey auction. These jerseys will commemorate loved ones by placing those names on each jersey's back. The Blackout Cancer games are a way for Saluki fans and community members to raise funds to support the Coach Kill Cancer Fund. The Coach Kill Cancer Fund was established after Coach Jerry Kill's personal experience with cancer. The fund helps patients in need throughout the southern 16 counties of Illinois with expenses such as fuel, prescriptions, nutritional needs, transportation costs, and treatment-related medical bills.
